Eric Liester

I'm Eric. I run the soundboard and the mix the sound for the band. Interestingly enough, the band doesn't hear what the audience hears. I'm responsible for getting the mix right. Controlling the Darned Guitar Players is the hardest part of the job!

Larraine Taylor

I'm Larraine. I'm the only female in the band. I play the Keyboards, sing and play many instruments in this band. I also sing much of the harmonies in this band. We sure have a lot of fun playing and singing these classic rock tunes.

Brian Hess

I"m Brian. I'm the percussionist/2nd drummer in the band. I sing many of the songs and help keep these guys in tune and on time. There is a real "Brotherhood" in this band.

Tony Perez

I'm Tony Perez. I'm the "Youngster" in the band, being half the age of these old guys! I'm the bass player and responsible for the bottom end of this band. I usually play the Bumblebee custom bass that our drummer Ken Dodge custom made.

Ken Dodge

I'm Ken Dodge. I'm the back beat of the band and the one the call the "Gentle Giant". My first love is great old country music but this band steps it up and makes us all step up to the plate. I like Tama Drums and Zildjian cymbols.

Ralph Perez

I'm Ralph the A.D.D. guitar player. I love this band and the friends and family in it!!! I love Telecaster Guitars and especially guitars made by Ken Dodge our drummer. This is one of the funnest bands I've ever played in.

Mike Toombs

I'm Mike !

Hi...I'm Mike...sort of the "leader" of this fun group. This Band is my "therapy" in life....and I need plenty of it! Each member of this Band brings their own style and strenghts to the group. Put us all together and what you get is the "40 SOMETHIN BAND"

We play all the songs you grew up with.....from the classics of the Beatles...to the rockin sounds of ZZ Top, with lots of emphasis on Southern Rock like Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Eagles, and the Allman Brothers.

Hi, My name is Pam and my best friend from high school, Julie, was a genius when she convinced us to get the 40 Somethin Band for our 30 year reunion. A few of our organizers were skeptical, wanting just music in the background. Well, I am here to tell you that I think every single person there pretty much danced the night away. I think I probably danced 85% of the time and absolutely loved hearing all of the songs from 'our' era. Your band was great in getting our group involved in guy/girl dance contests and having the guys sing a funny song as well. I would like to give a plug to the Band Forty Somethin. I got married in 2006 and I hired the band to come and play at my reception. It was a blast! Everyone at the wedding had a wonderful time, either dancing or listening. My brothers and sisters all commented on the great music and the memories that it brought back. The band is so professional and the music wasn't too loud to drown out the conversations that were buzzing. We've hired the band for Single dances too with great success. They are always a hit!
